MS Access / Windows Vista & 7

Hi Guys,

I have an msaccess database (Office 2007) which runs fine (read & write) in XP. However in both Vista & Win7 it opens "read only". However, if UAC is disabled then all runs well.

Does anyone know if/how it's possible to have read & write access with UAC enabled.

Regards,

Dave

Two possibilities come to mind.

Two possibilities come to mind.

One is to run Access using As Administrator (note that in Vista and Win7
this is different than using an id that is in the Administrator group).

The other is where is the database located? Certain folders are locked down
in Vista and Win7, and you might need to try putting it somewhere else.
