I'm trying to print checks with the check on top and two stubs on bottom.
I've followed KB864284, but my check still come out stub/check/stub. I've
given myself access to the modified report in security and changed the check
format in payables. Nothing works. HELP! I'm on GP 9.0

Have you given yourself access to the actual modified check?

The modified check neds to have a * by it (security, user - correct compnay,
Modified reports, Purchasing)

Yes, I have given myself access in security, but it still will not pick up the
modified check format when I print a check.

Are you printing from the same workstation where the modifications were made?
Is the dictionary shared on a server share or located on the local
workstation drive?

I am printing on the same workstation where I made the modifications. The
report dictionary is on a server share.

Couple of things. Check the dynamics.set file of the workstation just to
make sure it's pointing to the reports dictionary you think it is.

Go into advanced security and verify your security just to be sure.

If you used 'regular' security to grant yourself access, make sure you
actually picked you and the company you want. When the regular security
window opens it does not default to the currently logged in company.
Finally, make sure you are printing the appropriate form. The easiest way to
figure this out is to print the check to screen and then hit the Modify
button on the output window. Report Writer will open with the report you
just printed open and ready to accept modifications. If you don't see the
report you modified, you most likely modified the wrong report, if you do see
the report you modified it's a security issue.

Run GP 10.0 and GP 9.0 on Workstations? DataBase We're investigating our options for upgrading to Dynamics GP 10.0 from 9.0. Is it possible to install GP 10.0 on all the workstations that are running GP 9.0 without uninstalling GP 9.0? Basically, we would like the option of running both client versions (pointing to DSNs). Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated.
