DataBase - Extender Window from Purchasing Item Detail Entry

1. I have added an extender window to the Purchasing Item Detail Entry window
2.  Is there any way to have the fields here default information from the
item maintenance window?  Specifically the user defined fields in the option
window?
3. I would then like to see the same extender window information in the
Receiving transaction entry window..


Will any of the above be possible?

You would need to use the E-One Enterprise version of the Extender for this
and write Pre-Window logic to recover the data from the Item Master and
prefill the Extender window.

Here is how I achieved this using the GP Extender without doing much
of a customization:

2) Is there any way to have the fields here default information from
the item maintenance window?  Specifically the user defined fields in
the option window?
-- What I do in such case is, give an option to the users to write
something in the field in the Extender window on the Purchasing Line
Item screen.
If they decide to write something in this field, on the printing side,
I check for this field first. If this field comes out to be blank, I
will then print the field from the options window.

3) Specifically the user defined fields in the option window?
-- You could use Extender Inquiry functionality for this. You can
create an inquiry window which will be tied to the original Extender
window on the Purchase Order. You have ability to make this inquiry
window read only or you can make it modifiable.
