The current standard is SQL-99, and the previous one was SQL-92.
Standards bodies include ANSI,(American National Standards Institute),and the ISO,(International Standards Organization)
NAME STANDARDS BODY DESCRIPTION
SQL 92 ANSI Database Standards Committee A standard for the SQL Language.
SQL/PSM - Persistent Stored Module ANSI X3H2 Database Standards Committee A standard for specification of Stored Procedures.
